I Love You

Valentines day is quickly approaching and by quickly I mean it’s tomorrow. So, you will be spending this Saturday one of three ways: alone, with friends, or with your significant other. No matter the case we are here to give you some last minutes ideas for making your Valentines day great no matter who you are spending it with. Lets start with choice number one – alone.

You could spend your night playing video games or scarfing down a whole tub of ice cream andimage a box of chocolates, but let’s be honest, we both know you aren’t too happy about not having anyone special to spend the day of hearts with. It’s 2015 and it’s time you start taking chances. This year try taking yourself out to dinner. Be proud of who you are and maybe while you are out some lonely man or woman will be out doing the same thing and, who knows, you might just meet that special someone. If love just isn’t for you go to the gym. Trust me, those love birds will not be there, so if you are trying to avoid couples at all costs go somewhere where they won’t be and you can work on yourself. If neither of these options appeal to you stick to your chocolates and video games- we aren’t judging you. (Some couples are probably doing those things too.)

Maybe you haven’t found that special someone, but you are lucky enough to have friends who haven’t either. In this case pick up a classic board or card game. If you are all feeling lazy and a little down for not having dates, go have dinner! Just because there might be couples around you at every other table doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun too. If dinner still doesn’t sound like a good idea make valentines for each other. It’s fun and with so much technology around us getting your hands dirty with some glitter and glue with friends could lead to some great memories.

Lastly, here is for you couples. Congratulations! You found someone to spend Valentines Day with and not be alone this year. You get the privilege of feeling on top of the world knowing you get to spend this special day next to someone you love and even if you can’t be together you get to know someone loves you. Just remember that there are still single people and groups of people who just want to get out and have a good time so if you see someone sitting alone say hi and try not to be to lovey dovey in front of them. Lets spread the love this Valentines Day.

In the end it doesn’t matter how you spend this Saturday or who you spend it with. Know that I’m on the other side of this post cheering you on no matter what you do and if you don’t have anyone there telling you they love you, I do, I love you, mainly because you are reading this and that makes me happy. Happy Valentines Day!

Optimistic Tip: You control how you feel .That’s a fact, so don’t let anyone around you put you down. Only you control your happiness.
