Simply Happening

It’s never too late.
Too late for what? I asked.
Anything. Was the reply.
And I said but no
the world is full of chances missed.
To my err in reply was a muttle of voices.
Whether it happened yesterday or
a year ago it can not be changed
but it is never too late to take
what happened and rearrange the puzzle pieces you were given.
Shocked I stuttered out
I can’t change an idea or
an action that has happened.
Then in reply
but the outcome can be respaced
that gives you a power
which makes it never too late
to fix something broken
or to throw away something fixed.
