Tiredness Touch

It’s subtle at first
as that familiar, warm
tender hand caresses your
doubts and your
fears.

You feel it holding
the back of your head
sweeping across your
eyelids fluttering
dangerously.

Ruh,helll,axe
it whispers in your
ear. Breathy, earthy,
alone you succumb.
Sweet nothings persuade
you to
let go.

In a moment
you become alert
W  I   D   E
awake, it’s startl
ing. Shake it off
drift…

Tiredness touch found
you. Don’t let it in
again.
